SoftUncloner allows you to search and delete identical files on your computer, including subfolders. To utilize the program unzip the downloaded file and run the "SoftUncloner.exe" file. To operate the program, select the folder you wish to inspect. The start path will be shown in the upper right corner of the window. Mark the desired filters you want to utilize for the search (pictures, music, movies, executables, and text) or select the option “all” to search all kinds of files. After selecting the filter options click on the "Search" button to begin your search. You will see in the search section, the number of directories to search and directories read, files found, and clones found. In the option section you can mark the desired options to include subdirectories, show images preview, and ask for confirmation before deleting. If your search includes a lot of directories, the search can be slow. After finishing your search, you will see the clone files found and the list will be saved in the "Clones.txt" file. Mark the files you want to delete, and click the delete button to continue. |
